Only entities registered for an LEI are covered
Covers entities with LEI registration via GLEIF — only ~2.5 million entities worldwide have LEIs, primarily financial institutions
What to do instead: If no LEI is found, search by company name and jurisdiction; consider that smaller entities may not have an LEI
